TERRY HEDDEN
CEO | Marketopia

Terry Hedden is a veteran MSP business owner that founded Infinity Technology Solutions and built it into a force in the MSP market growing from 1 to 49 employees in 6 years with no outside funding and only $24k in seed capital.  He sold his firm in 2012 to dedicate his professional endeavors to helping technology firms succeed and grow.  He now operates a leading marketing and lead generation firm that is 100% dedicated to helping technology companies in the channel generate leads, close sales and increase bottom line profits.

Terry Hedden, started his professional career working in sales for AT&T and as a consultant with EDS. After graduation from UF with his bachelor’s degree, he joined the Management Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP, now Cap Gemini, leading projects in IT Project Management, Post Merger Integration and ERP Implementations worldwide. He then moved to E.piphany, now Infor, as an executive in their Consulting organization leading CRM implementations for Fortune 100 firms before joining Lectra Systems as the CIO and Director of their North America and Caribbean Consulting Organization.

In 2003, he left Lectra to start Infinity Business Systems, later renamed Infinity Technology Solutions, a leading IT service provider with operations throughout Florida and Georgia. Infinity provided a complete technology offering for hundreds of businesses, including hardware and software solutions, outsourcing, Managed IT Services, Cloud Solutions, VoIP Telephony, website and software development services. Infinity received numerous awards, including recognition as a Best Place to Work in Florida, 4 time winner of Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500/5000, a 5 time winner of the 50 Fastest Growing Firms in Tampa, 3 time winner of Best Computer Support organization in Tampa Bay, Orlando Chamber’s Most Outstanding Small Business and Greater Tampa Chamber’s Business of the Year. He led Infinity to success transforming a $24,500 investment into one of the nation’s fastest growing and most successful Managed IT firms before selling Infinity to Zeno Office Solutions in 2012.

He enjoys giving back to the technology industry thru over 40 speaking engagements per year and consulting with firms on topics related to Cloud Computing, Managed IT Services, Sales and Marketing Best Practices and Entrepreneurship. He is a dedicated family man that runs his life based on Christian principles.  Terry has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) and an MBA from the University of Florida.

ANDRA HEDDEN

Andra Hedden is Chief Marketing Officer at Marketopia, a Clearwater, FL-based sales and marketing agency that provides end-to-end sales strategy, lead generation, marketing and sales enablement for the entire span of IT channel organizations. Andra is a marketing dynamo and established leader with a proven track record for building resilient client relationships, executing successful brand marketing strategies, crafting effective business development plans, as well as clearly understanding and implementing efficient organizational processes. Her past roles have given her an exceptional perspective on the entire IT channel from software, hardware and cloud vendors to distributors, MSP and VARs. Her vast channel marketing knowledge has also created dynamic go-to-market strategies for other tech powerhouses and cloud vendors, such as Amazon, Carbonite, Intermedia, Microsoft, PGi, Symantec and VMware, resulting in maximized reseller channel sales.

JONATHAN BOWMAN

Jonathan Bowman is a Professional EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Implementer who has helped over a dozen leading entrepreneurial companies in the Tampa Bay area get what they want from their businesses.

An entrepreneur from the start, he launched his first company, Harmony Home Health, at the age of 22. The business saw strong growth and multiple awards in its first decade. When it hit the ceiling, Jonathan implemented EOS to trigger the turnaround, doubled the company’s revenue over the next three years and ultimately sold it to a private equity company as their platform acquisition in the industry.

Jonathan has a degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT. He is a former President of the Entrepreneurs Organization in Tampa Bay and lives in St. Petersburg with his wife and two daughters.

Heather Hurd is a marketing and communications professional with a background in content marketing. Heather has run content teams in the technology space since 2014. As a writer, editor and PR professional, Heather began her career in the DC nonprofit scene before moving to Florida in 2014 and joining the ConnectWise team. After growing that team, she made the move to Marketopia in 2018, where she serves as the Associate Creative Director and oversees PR content creation. Heather has a degree in Art History from Towson University. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time at Florida theme parks with her husband and daughter.

JIM KINNIER

With 30 years of proven executive sales management experience with companies including GTE/Verizon and Sage Software, Jim Kinnier is who you want leading your sales team if you want to surpass your revenue goals. During his time as president of Resource One, he assisted in growing their revenue 52 percent over a two-year period while building a solid sales and marketing engine. Jim currently leads e5 Sales Group, a sales consulting firm specializing in managed service providers, and has helped more than 30 MSPs hire highly effective salespeople.

JEFF LAWS
Senior Growth Consultant | Marketopia

Jeff Laws began his Marketopia career in June of 2016. He started as a level 3 appointment setter and climbed the ranks to a team lead. He was promoted to a Growth Consultant in August of 2017 and never looked back. He is now a Senior Growth Consultant and is passionate about seeing the more than 100 MSPs he has brought onboard achieve their growth goals. His previous experience includes mortgage banking, GSA contracting and advertising sales for MLB, NASCAR and the National Football League. He enjoys camping with his family and free diving in freshwater caves in his free time.

JAY McBAIN

Jay McBain is one of the most visible thought leaders in the global technology channel. He has over 30 years of business, management and training experience in the computer and electronics industry and has owned several successful businesses.

ARNIE PEREZ

Arnie Perez is an experienced executive focused on IT sales and marketing, both at a strategic and execution level. He founded Blitz, a top marketing agency for tech vendors in Latin America. Most recently, Arnie has worked on multi-channel sales and marketing projects for SAP, HP, Cisco, Google, Microsoft, Intel, Merck, Eli Lilly and others. He frequently contributes business articles related to technology and IT channels for various magazines, blogs and newspapers.

He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Gregorian University of Rome, Italy, and an MBA from the University of Dallas in International Business Management.
